Hanson Cement Open day Tomorrow

I think 10.30 am to 4 pm
We're going
I've been before.

The manufacture is largely computer controlled, the control room part of the tour last time I visited. I seem to remember one person can run the production over night. Much to a former Penyffordd Community Cllr's horror.

I'd like to go up the tower. They have a lift. Not sure if its on the menu though I think not. Previously they've allowed school children up there.

Here's my previous visit. Wife Lisa in the pics. Mark Cox ( General manager) also in the first few pics too. A lovely man. Now promoted elsewhere. Cllr Cindy Hinds also in the frame.
